                                                     MISS JOURNEE 🍄                                                                                 
                                                Miss journee have a great day
                                               We all miss you come and play.
                                      If you materialize back you will blow my mind
                                                  After all you are very kind.

                                      You've played our schemes and kept a fight
                                         You're a nice person you're very bright.
                                                Watch out the mice might bite
                                                  But your strong like a knight.
 
                                                Ohh effervescent miss journee
                                               You roll around like a dice 🎲
                                                     You are ever so nice,
                                         You're on fire I think you need some ice.

                                                You show the virtues everyday
                                            When I'm wrong you are quite right.
                                                 I'm sad this has a extremity
                                                  I wish this was perpetually.

Samoa🇼🇸

When I was 7 years old I went to Samoa 🇼🇸 with my family for two weeks.
When we arrived in Samoa/Apia 🇼🇸 we run outside and felt the warm breeze against our faces.We rang my step uncle to pick us up in his trailer. When he got to the airport my brothers and I hopped in the trailer,it took about 20 minutes until we arrived in our destination.Mum said "go to bed" because we got no sleep on the airplane.

On the second day of our trip we travelled to the beach, my brothers,dad and I went in the water but mum stayed on the sand.A couple of days after we went to see turtles 🐢 ,We were allowed to swim with them.One turtle was friendly enough to let me ride on its back.

There was three days to go until we had to go back to New Zealand 🇳🇿,so we made the most of it.We went to a hotel/Cafe on the edge of the beach and it had a pool and spa I was playing in the pool.My mum came up with a bleeding toe she said a crab 🦀 bit her, we asked the manager of the hotel if the crabs were  poisonous he said "yes".So we put ice on it and some cream.

It was time to go Back to New Zealand 🇳🇿 we said bye 👋 to everyone,and drove to the airport, we caught the plane back to New Zealand 🇳🇿 and my other uncle picked us up and took us back home 🏡.

How to play Beach flags

Aim:To be able to play beach flags at home whenever you want.
   
           Materials:

•   Flags/end of hose or a non sharp stick
•   People/official(or someone to call out the officials words)
•  Beach/sand(or a soft surface)
• Something to outline the sand(rope) 20 metres high 10 metres width(optional)

Step 1:Line up on the rope with your toes on the edge.
Step 2:When the official says "competitors ready",lie on the ground with your toes still on the rope not facing the flags.
Step 3:The official will also say "heads down",when you hear that put your left palm on the ground underneath your chin with your right hand on top and put your nose on your hand.
Step 4:The official will say "feet together" as well, put your ankles together but remember to keep your toes on the rope.
Step 5:After about 2 seconds the official will say"Go", put your hands to the side of your chest,go up in a push up position with one knee on the ground and the other leg in a right angle against your stomach, with your hands off the ground.Do a half turn until the flags are in eyesight.
Step 6:Stand up and run until your about 2 metres away from the flags than dive for a flag.

Now you hopefully know how to play Beach flags and you can do it whenever you want.

Official:Is a referee mixed with a judge.

The food fridge

On Wednesday the 30th of August room 1 went to the New Brighton food fridge.Nearly everyone at school bought something to put in the food fridge,there was food such as cans,tea,noodles,yogurt ,biscuits etc.

We all carried something to the fridge.I first carried noodles 🍝 but the bag broke, so the second time I carried yogurt.We paired up,I was with Javae on the way there and on the way back I was with Joy.

When we arrived we got in a line and took turns to put the food in the fridge. I think giving to people feels better than taking,because when you take your not helping people but when you give you help others.

I think you should go to the New Brighton food fridge to donate because it will helps others.

Why smoking should be banned

 I Strongly believe smoking should be banned ,I hope you will agree with me after you read this text.

Smoking should be banned,because its life threatening.It nearly harms all your organs in your body and you can get many diseases like lung cancer,heart diseases and strokes.You harm people around you too.

My second argument is it costs too much money.People are spending too much money buying something that damages their health.The Government prices them up but people don't care they act like smokings good for them,and it's better than more important stuff in life like their family.

My third reason is smoking is addictive.when you have one you want more and more.Its like lollies.If you have a packet of lollies,when you have one you want more.Except smoking is way worse than a packet of lollies.

Overall I am sure you agree with me,because smoking is very bad for your health,costs a lot of money and it's addictive.

NO CLASS CAPTAIN

I think there should be no class captain,because we are all strong individuals.

My first argument is when we all work together it's better than one person bossing us around.
It's like getting bossed around by a teacher except it's your friend,and do you like to get bossed
Around?

If there's no class captain we can get to know people better that are reserved.Its like if there's someone reserved in your class,they can break out of there shell and lead prayers or do some class captain responsibilitys.

There's more opportunitys for students,if there's no class captain we can all do class captain responsibilitys instead of the class captain doing everything.
Overall I think there should be no class captain,because it will be less bossy,have more opportunitys and we will know people better.
